No. You can keep your current calendar and add your appointments to Assido by manual entry or by image import. This isn't an automatic sync: new appointments need to be added to Assido.
Take a screenshot of the conversation containing the appointment, then import it into Assido. Check and complete the detected information before saving it. Assido doesn't connect to your WhatsApp account and doesn't read your conversations automatically.

No. WhatsApp may be the source of your screenshot, but reminders are sent by email or SMS depending on your plan. Your client doesn't need to create an Assido account.
The Email plan at $4.99/month provides one email reminder the day before. The Email + SMS plan at $14.99/month allows up to three reminders at D-7, D-3 and D-1, with 60 SMS segments included per month. Annual rates are shown in the plans section.
