Who processes your data

Assido is an appointment reminder service by email and SMS for professionals. The data controller is Assido's publisher, reachable at contact@assido.fr.

Two distinct roles

Assido processes two categories of data, under two different capacities:

• The subscribed professional's data (business name, email, billing identifier): Assido is the data controller.
• End clients' data (name, email, phone number, appointment date), entered by the professional: Assido acts as a data processor on behalf of that professional, who remains responsible for collecting it and informing their own clients.

Data collected and purposes

• Account: business name, email address, encrypted password or Google identifier. Purpose: creating and securing access to the service.
• Appointment: client's name, email, phone number and appointment time. Purpose: sending scheduled reminders.
• Billing: Stripe customer identifier and subscription status. No card data passes through or is stored by Assido.
• Send log: record of each reminder sent (channel, date). Purpose: never sending the same reminder twice.

Signing in with Google

If you choose to sign in with Google, Assido only receives your Google identifier, your email address, whether it is verified, and your name. Assido does not access any other data from your Google account, does not read or send emails on your behalf, and does not access any other Google service. This information is used solely to create your account and authenticate you.

Legal basis

Processing of account and billing data is based on the performance of the contract between us. Sending reminders is based on the professional's legitimate interest in honoring their appointments, within the relationship they maintain with their clients.

Subprocessors

• Stripe — payment and subscription.
• Twilio — SMS delivery.
• Resend — email delivery.
• DigitalOcean — server hosting.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Retention period

Appointment data is kept for the duration of the subscription, then deleted within 30 days of account closure. Accounting records related to billing are kept for 10 years, as required by law.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to, and port your data. Write to contact@assido.fr: you will receive a response within one month. You may also file a complaint with the CNIL.

If you are the end client of a business using Assido, address your request directly to that business, which decides on the data concerning you.

Cookies

Assido sets a session cookie, strictly necessary for login to work. With your consent, Meta and PostHog may also set audience-measurement trackers. They are used to measure visits and trials, never to transmit the content of appointments or your clients' contact details. You can refuse or withdraw your choice at any time from your browser settings.
